It's been crazy, busy days for Noah and me. Here's a quick recap of what we've been up to this week.

Last week, Noah and I built a shed for our deck. I thought I'd try my building skills at something a little more substantial, so this week I built a HOUSE! I think I've found and new career calling. I bought Noah a playhouse and spent several hours putting it together. I would have blogged last night, but my hands were just too sore from turning the screwdriver. Next investment - electric screwdriver. Here are some pictures of the house, Noah playing in it, and a sweet video of Noah saying "housth" which is Noah speak for "house".

In addition "house", "shoes", "no", "yes", and a bunch of other words, Noah surprised me with his first string of words. He said "Hi Mama." OK, seriously heart-melting moment. As in tears in the eyes. He really is growing up fast.

I got Noah a pool to play in on sunny days. We've been having pretty good weather, so he has been able to play in it quite a bit. Here are a few pictures:

Today we hung out at the park right down the street from us with our playgroup friends. It was so good to see everyone again! This is the group that I've been friends with since our birthing class, and have watched the kids grow. I was so busy chasing Noah that I only got a few pictures:

Finally for tonight, here is a picture of the snap peas that are growing from the seeds I planted. They are just about the best thing I've ever tasted. Nothing like being able to pick stuff just before I put it on the plate.

I hope everyone is well. Have a good evening.

  1. I don't remember seeing you with the camera once. Guess I was just really enjoying those chips. So good to see you today. I love the house for Noah, and thank you so so much for the lawn mower!
