This was the first Christmas that I was able to put presents under the tree and that Santa could visit us at home since we were traveling this time last year. I had a ton of fun putting all of Noah's gifts under the tree, filling his stocking and getting his new donkey (see pictures below) ready on Christmas Eve after Noah went to bed. On Christmas morning, Noah came down the stairs and first saw the donkey. At first he thought it was real and was kind of scared. Then he figured out that it was OK to touch and fell in love with the big red bow that was on top of its head. In fact, the donkey has been named "Bo" because that is how Noah has referred to him from the beginning.
He still doesn't seem to be all that interested in unwrapping presents, he asked me to do it and then got excited about what was inside. He got great books, lots of dinosaur stuff, a space ship, Duplo blocks, and several other things. It was supposed to be a small Christmas, but it didn't seem to end up that way. Thank you to everyone!
I am so amazed by him and how quickly he picks up concepts and words now. He recently told me he loved me for the first time and is putting three word sentences together. He loves to give hugs and is my big helper around the house. We make a good team!
Here are some pictures of Christmas Eve and morning. I also posted a video of Noah after all of his gifts were opened. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!
