There isn't a day that goes by where Noah does at least a million things that amaze me. Today was no exception. He did something that neither Kris nor I had seen him do. After he was done with dinner and we took him out of his highchair, without any guidance from us he proceeded to pick up a noodle he had dropped during dinner and took it to the trashcan and put it in. WOW!!!! We didn't teach him that. We have showed him where to put "yucky" stuff, and he must have thought that the noodle was pretty yucky (I didn't cook it so I didn't take offense). We were so proud of him!

I think he might be getting a lot of this through his school. He is in such a great program. Now that he has pretty much moved to the toddler room, he is doing all kinds of new things. They do at least one sensory activity a day. Today they painted with dried flowers. They have group activities so he is getting used to a different kind of interaction with his classmates. Reading and music are a big part of the program and they have a phonics instructor come in once a week. There are great activities like music, tumbling, spanish, and other things we haven't looked into yet. I'm amazed by several people who have actually "unfriended" me because I put Noah into daycare. I think what he is learning is invaluable and will serve him well all his life.

OK, I'm getting down from my soapbox now. No new pictures today. Noah didn't sit still enough for any. time to crash for the night. He's been sleeping a bit better these last few nights. I hope he does again tonight.

  1. I cannot believe that anyone would unfriend you because you take Noah to daycare/preschool. Interaction with other kids is key to social development. The earlier, the better! Don't get down on yourself! You are a wonderful mommy and Noah is lucky to have you!
