Noah had an eventfull last few days. Here are three highlights:

1. A toddler with brain-freeze is cute at first, but then tragically sad. Noah wanted a scoop of my ice cream (it's weight watchers - so I'm technically not cheating on my diet) and so I held out my metal spoon and he sucked off a pretty big mouth-full. First his eyes got really big, then he stuck his hand in his mouth to try and get the ice cream out, then he cried. I felt really bad. Maybe it was the flavor and not brain-freeze. Or maybe it was because it was faux ice cream. I mean really - how can you consider fat-free, no sugar, an-entire-cup-only-has-80-calories ice cream??

2. It's easier to go backwards than forward. Noah has a little scooter car that he can sit on and "drive" around the room. He's figured out how to propel himself backwards, but can't figure out how to go forward at all. He did something brilliant as he was trying to figure it out. He turned himself around in the seat thinking he might be able to see where he was going. Unfortunately, it didn't work.

3. Postcards aren't poisonous. Noah got a hold of a postcard mailer that came with today's mail. He likes to "read" things and carry them around, then throw them in the trashcan. So I wasn't overly concerned. Until things got quiet. I found him chewing on the postcard and a good quarter of it was gone. He was pretty pleased with himself. Maybe I should feed him more fiber??

He's a super funny kid and a blast to be with. That's it for today.
